Simon graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1994 following a career as a photographer. He was introduced to the practice of Osteopathy due to rugby-related neck and head injuries.

After graduation, Simon practised in a variety of Osteopathic practices, seeing his immediate postgraduate years as being like an apprenticeship to learn with and from fellow practitioners throughout the UK and Europe. He uses both cranial and structural Osteopathic techniques in his practice.

After an initial focus on orthopaedics and sports-related injuries, Simon developed a special interest in treating children – a move that was prompted by becoming a parent himself. He studied Paediatrics treating children at Colin Dove’s practice; the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London; and in the Children’s Clinic of Stowmarket Osteopaths. Simon is a member of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and undertook postgraduate study in paediatrics there.
